Find a group to game with

I live in Knoxville TN a goodly sized southern city and the gaming scene here is ded. We have no gaming clubs even tho we have a major university in the city. We have a local gaming shop which is located in both the major malls called game board but they only take our money and do not support local gaming at all. There are some gaming clubs in the surrounding counties but that is a half hour driver or more. People game in the city but only in small exclusive groups and there is no forum to meet new gamers. What we need is a local club or shop where you can meet and greet other gamers.
