    I went here with my family on a trip to San Francisco. I would totally recommend the day trip; it was BEAUTIFUL!

    big sur is phenomenal 3 years ago

    just visited over easter/06 and it was great! weather was rainy but that meant we had the hiking trails mostly to ourselves. intended to camp but it was cold at night, so glad we didn’t. stayed instead at big sur river inn and it was basic but decent and in a great location near the state parks. the whole place is pretty much a park and it’s just beautiful!!
