How I did it: I washed my dishes with Dawn detergent and a dollar store sponge. Before I began I filled the second sink up with hot water to rinse the dishes. I always do the plates first, the bowls second, the cups third, all pots and pans fourth and the silverware last.
Lessons & tips: Put your favorite music on and dance while washing the dishes, you get a work out too...or you can be like me, stand in one spot slouching malignantly.

I’ve got so much recycling ready to go out there’s no room in the bin, so it’s stacked up on the counter. Other than that, the clutter is just about gone. The cabinets really need to be replaced, but I’ll have to settle for wiping them down. The refrigerator needs to be cleaned out, but that’s a goal in and of itself…

I got most of the dishes finally put away. Now only to get that other cabinet moved into the kitchen so I can get the Pampered Chef stuff put away!

I moved a few things around in the kitchen. I took those huge bags of cans out of the house finally and put them in the back yard for my dad to take.
Did a few things in the dining room, but not much.

We’ve been working on it every day now for the past 3 days, it’s looking a lot better. Because we can’t do our laundry at our place the baskets sit in the dining room which is attached to the kitchen so it all looks horrible, and since our cupboard fell off the way like 2 years ago and our land lord won’t come and fix it we had to go buy new stuff to put our stuff away in. We’ll get it done though, we’ll get it done!

Okay, this is finally done…almost. It’s not that I haven’t beenc cleaning it and have just let the dishes pile, it’s that I would start doing it and clean one round of dishes and then leave a few in there, and then the next day I would do another round and leave a few, but I finally went through yesterday and cleaned all of the dishes in the sink. The only thing I haven’t done is mop the floor, but hey, I’m a guy, how likely is it that I will ever do that?? For now, I’ll call it good enough.
