How I did it: Strict and constricting garter stitch all the way in a fabulous neutral wool. Knit 1, Knit 2 on and off for 8 months.
Knitting on the subway, in waiting rooms, at coffee houses, during movies, traveling on planes.

I like doing it on vacations and at Christmas. Two, three days tops and I’ve got someone a really nice present.
At some point I’m going to have the time to turn my attention to sweaters. I’ve given up on mittens and socks.
