i want to learn how to wear makeup can someone help me (i am 15 year old boy with no female friends)
How to learn how to wear makeup
How I did it: Two good friends of mine on separate occasions took a significant chunk of time to work on doing my makeup and teaching me along the way. Both of them look excellent in their makeup and never fake. Even though I don't wear it every day, I definitely don't panic anymore when events come up that I feel I should wear makeup for.
Lessons & tips:
- Have friends help you, but be sure their makeup is something you can appreciate.
- Don't let anyone tell you to wear something that you hate.
- Natural is much better than caked.
- Work with someone who is well versed in appropriate colors for hair color and skin tone!!!

I don’t think I wear make-up too wrong, I just need a few pointer on how to improve it. I have a round face and I don’t know a thing about blushes, so I never wear it. I’ve read that not necessarily a good thing to leave out. I get complimented on my eye make-up, but I feel it could be better, more fun. If anyone has ideal where to learn quick and inexpensively that would be great.

I need to check out those youtube videos more. I hope to learn bit by bit.
I never wear much make-up… just a little eye liner and blush. Last month, I got married. The make up person I hired was fantastic, and made me realize my potential! I didn’t know I could look that good! I would love to learn how to make myself look like that by learning how to choose and apply make-up properly.
I’ve always been “into makeup” (following my mother’s example, I guess) As I got older I became more interested in the art of it, reading tons of magazines and books (I recommend “Making Faces” by Kevyn Aucoin for great techniques and photography—the man was a genius!)
Later I went to work for a number of department store cosmetics companies (which is a great job because they offer lots of training and a make up “allowance”/gratis)
Even though I don’t work in the field anymore, I love what I’ve learned from it.
I think make up makes look more polished in the workplace. Also it’s just fun to create different, dramatic looks for going out.
I think a big tip I learned is to not follow trends blindly, but to modify to fit your assets. Pick your favorite feature and showcase it.

I’ve been feeling like an exhausted frump the last couple weeks… I think it’s time to pull out the cosmetic kit and cute clothes and get my act together…
NEVER REALLY WEAR MAKE UP AND WOULD LIKE TO GET SOME HELP. MY FIANCE WANTS TO SEE ME LOOK MORE LIKE A GIRL INSTEAD OF BOYISH.
