My boyfriend’s childhood friend’s mom (how’s that for a mouthful?) sent a glorious pair of earrings home with him as a gift for me after his recent trip to San Diego to visit. I sent her a joyful e-mail last night expressing my gratitude for the way above and beyound “just because” gift! Check out her awesome earrings etc at http://www.etsy.com/shop/joycekrt. Her work is really high quality and BEAUTIFUL! Energetically charged too :) 19 months ago
Wrote a card for my friend S last week, and decided to wait to give it to her when i saw her rather than mail it. She came for tea and to catch up today, so I sent it home with her :) 20 months ago

Time to start making those cards! I’ve got card stock and matching envelopes, now for the collage materials, and I’m all set :) 21 months ago
I really value getting hand written notes in the mail, and i know my friends do too! I haven’t sent any in ages and ages though, and am sort of scared by the concept of even thinking that i want to, for fear of beating myself up when I don’t. So, the intention with this goal is to remind me that it is something I value, and want to make time for in my life, with compassion for when things get busy and I don’t. That being said, this is a pretty simple goal. Following are the baby steps I need to take to make it happen.
1) make cards
2) collect mailing addresses for my loved ones
3) by stamps to have on hand
4) keep small box of cards beside my bed, and write to someone when I’m lonely or thining of them in particular
5) slide into envelop, seal, address, stamp, and get it into the letterbox!
