Go sailing in Greece

I have always wanted to sail. I love being out on the water though I am slightly petrified of sharks! I think few things look more majestic then a beautiful sailboat floating quietly on the water. I also love Greece. (well I’ve never been there) And I want very badly to go there. So, maybe that will be a honeymoon option. In which case I should probably marry a sailor.

Have sailed about the Ionian Islands. Absolutely brilliant!

Great, but beware of the heat!

i have always been inexplicably drawn to Greece and the coastal towns Italy (or what i imagine island life to be). i have not always been drawn to all things oceanic and/or all things nautical. i’m not a strong swimmer, nor do i do any sailing or surfing or beach-going even. but i know i could never live in a landlocked area of the world. never. and when i first started dating my current bf and he and his then-roommate talked about the possibility of going sailing (even if it was only in the bay) i was thrilled! once i’d heard, over the radio, about a cruise ship of mostly senior citizens and/or retired folks taking a cruise of the mediterranean (with the music of thirties and forties wafting overhead—perfect) i thought what a dream that would be. what a perfect dream.
