see death valley

Hi there

Just last year I was in states and rented a VW van to drive around some of the country and on my travels I saw a sign saying to death valley will I thought why not.
Just as I got to the outskirts of the plaines there is one little shop with a caravan park attached to it I when in had a beer asked about staying there for a night, it was cheap but no
I wonted to stay out there in the dark.
I drove down to the plaines found a place of the road and parked. It was dark hot and very very quite a strange place I felt very alone.
The next day I woke up just before dawn, “what a sunrise”. Well you have see it for yourself, I cant explain it.
The drive through the valley one I will never forgot.Hope you can did it one day.

The weather’s better and the sunsets/sunrises are still beautiful, and you can actually camp without dying of heat stroke. Go to the dunes near Stovepipe Wells and roll down them.

worth the sleepless night, the oppressive heat and the sand blowing across our faces all night long.

snapped some beautiful pictures and hit the road.
