Priorities 1 month ago

I am currently sorting out my priorities as part of my give up apathy goal.

I’m not giving up on this goal, I’m just moving it to a separate ‘ Future goals ’ list to achieve in the future, but not to worry about right now when there are more important things I want to achieve. Having a more focused list of goals should benefit me as I can see the goals I should be making progress on right now.

Ideas!! 6 months ago

RIGHT!! Basic idea is that I’m planning to use my art and jewellery to sell and start raising money for the Africa fund! We came up with several ways of doing this which I need to plan further.

  1. Website: When I finally get my website up and running, I can display my photography and drawings etc on there.
  2. Business Cards: I was tlaking with my boyfriend yesterday, and he suggested to make cards to give out. I thought this seemed a bit arogant or something, but he pointed out it won’t do any harm! If people want a picture then they want a picture – if I gain a bit of cash even if a little bit, for something that I enjoy then what’s the harm!!
  3. Stall: I really need to speak to the council about how much it is for a liscence to run a stall. I’d do it at local events – people taking over Babbacombe Cliff Railway have already kindly said they’ll let me do this there [which should also help in getting over the train thing!!] and then ofcourse there’s always carboots etc!!

:)x xx x

Although many people wouldn’t understand how something that isn’t a painting is “art”—I sold my art! To date I have sold several hundred dollars of my textile arts: shawls and blankets and scarves and baskets. I’m proud of myself.
