How I did it: I got a great book out of the library and liked it so much I bought it. Then, before going on vacation, I gathered together some cotton, floss, needles, hoop, scissors and fabric marker and tossed them in a ziploc bag. I took the lot with me on vacation and pulled out the book the first chance I got. I drew some circles on the fabric using different sizes and picked some stitches and got started. The New Crewel. It’s a very inspiring book and I love so many of the patterns. I need to go through my stash of embroidery materials and get them ready so that I can tackle them. This book is so fun I might have to add it to my birthday wish list. 1 year ago
