right… I’m on holiday for 3 weeks… and planning to make use of the spare time to really get used to the guitar. build up callouses on my fingers and all. also planning to get a grip on barre chords… at least a few basic ones like F chords etc. there’s no point moaning about wanting to learn how to play if I’m not going to knuckle down and really feel the pain!! so here goes….

Now that I have a beautiful Ovation in my possession (たーちゃんありがとう！） I really need to do something with it! byejune will make sure of that…

Because I used to take lessons, years ago. My parents have a piano and no one’s played in ages. What a waste. I feel that this is one thing I should really do because I could probably have become very good at it; my sight reading sucks but I can play by ear. I’m only really interested in playing songs that I like, though. I’ve also always wanted to play the drums and have recently taken up guitar, which I’m finding pretty hard because I have small hands…my fingers hurt from practising!
