I can’t believe it!! Day #900 and I am still wearing the braces… though it is quite longer than I expected, I am still happy about getting this done. It is very satisfactory to see pictures of me smiling and feel good about it.
This is not only important for this particular goal but also for all the things that I never thought I could do. They can be done! I feel confident that I can achieve whatever I want. :D 4 months ago

Yesterday I got my new – and hopefully final – set of braces. There are seven so it will take around 5 more months… :( It is not a big deal but I was supposed to be done with this by now. Anyways, I really hope my teeth are perfect after this. They are so much better than when I started but I still have the front teeth a bit crooked.
All in all I am still super happy to be doing this. :D 7 months ago

well, it was actually 2 days ago but I didn’t realize until today. I was supposed to be done with the treatment by now but I am far from ending it yet. I actually did everything right, used the braces all the time and didn’t miss any appointment. However, I guess this is not an exact science, so to speak. I am currently waiting for my new set of braces to be ready. I should call the doctor tomorrow since there were supposed to be ready last week but they did not call me yet. I honestly don’t mind using the braces but I would definitely rather be done with it already.
The improvement is huge though, so I’m still super happy about this.

my braces were fitted yesterday! Woohoo! Eating is difficult and I feel like I have hard toffee stuck to my teeth every waking moment. My teeth ache but I like it; I means that it’s working. I’m going to have to change my diet so I can get my food down properly. I almost choked on my spaghetti last night because it wasn’t chewed properly.

I had to get a tooth removed to make room for the movement needed to straighten my teeth and fix my bite. So, out it came today! One of the strangest things I’ve sat through and not something I’d want to do too often! I will be taking very good care of my oral health for the rest of my life! I have to say, I absolutely love my dentist; he is simply brilliant! He said it was one of the toughest teeth he’s removed, but on the up-side of that, I have very strong and dense bone in my skull (that’s a good thing isn’t it?!).

I was just about to finish the treatment but my teeth are not perfect yet. So today I went to my Orthodontist to get new impressions taken for a new set of braces… they will be ready in about 3 weeks. I hope they don’t give me 10 more, I hope it’s shorter than that. However, what I care the most about is that my smile is as perfect as possible :) 8 months ago

I forgot to post it but last July 29th was my 2 year anniversary of my orthodontics treatment. I am really close to the end of the treatment now and I am super happy with the results I already have. Of course, there is still some time left to finish but I feel so much better about my smile now, that I can’t even tell you. :D :D :D 9 months ago

Went to the dentist today for a check-up and to get a referral to an orthodontist. Tuns out I have a cavity that needs work ASAP and a chipped filling that needs repair. Also got a professional clean and polish so I’m loving the feel and look of my super-clean teeth! I’m determined to brush and floss more regularly so when I go back in six months they’ll say “Wow, you’re teeth are really clean!”
Now I have to work out how I’m going to pay for all this work! 10 months ago

Wow!! 700 is a lot of days! Supposedly, I am less than 3 months away of finishing the treatment… however, as I see my teeth now, I think it might take a bit longer. And while I can’t wait to get it over with… I really don’t mind it all that much and I am more concerned of my smile being as perfect as possible. So I’ll wait and I’ll be a good girl and won’t complain about it. This is so unreal to be actually doing at last that I am beyond happy with this goal. 10 months ago

It’s been a long time already, huh? I still have around 6 more months to go but I am less anxious now than I was in the beginning of the treatment. I can’t wait to get my beautiful smile all perfect!
My teeth look a lot lot better than they used to, sometimes when I see old pictures, I realize how bad they were and I can’t believe I took so long to do this. Somehow I feel like this was always at the tip of my fingers (is that how you say it?) and when I finally decided to do it, I “crossed the bridge” and I will be on the other side soon. I think the same about my weight loss… and also about my fear of driving… it is a very interesting insight that I only had a few days ago… I really need to “just do it”... crazy thought but I think is true… 14 months ago

Today I got the new set of 10 braces. I was afraid that the first one would hurt a lot but fortunately it is not all that bad.
If I count time strictly, I will be done with this stage around mid September… it looks far away now but at least I know I’m gonna be done this year.
My doctor said if she sees by the end of this stage, my teeth are not perfect, then we’ll get more braces but we both think it should be enough with what I have.
My teeth have changed a lot with the first 10 braces, so these ones should do good too.
I realize that I am smiling a lot more confidently than before. When getting pictures taken, for example (I worry about other things, but not my teeth anymore!!). And, let me tell you, that is an awesome feeling.
This was one of the biggest pending issues of my life and I can say I am conquering it! I am happy beyond words. :D 15 months ago

today I went to my Orthodontist and she took the impressions to get my final set of braces done. It’s gonna be around 10 more of them so it would take me around another 8 more months of treatment once I get them. Also, it would take around 1 month or so to get them done… so, all in all, it will take up most of this year to finally get my teeth straightened. I wish it would be faster but I really don’t mind it all that much. I am happy with the results already and I am barely half way there. 16 months ago

I found a great offer on Groupon for Inman Aligners and snapped it up. It’s been uncomfortable, embarrassing and annoying but soon I will have straight teeth! And I’ll know never ot be so vain ever again! 16 months ago

YEAY!!! Yesterday was day #500 of having the braces on. I am so happy, I can actually see the results already. Of course, I am only half way there but my teeth look so much better. They were very crooked and now, even though there is still a long way to go, there is a lot more harmony to them.
I recommend to anyone who is not happy about their smile to go for it and get the braces. You will not regret it.

yeay!!! I continue to be so so happy to be doing this. The changes are subtle but I notice them and I can’t wait to finish the treatment but it is not really so bad. My teeth only hurt a couple of days when I get my new aligners every three weeks and for the rest, they are great. Most people hardly notice them and when I tell them, they are really surprised.
Yesterday I got aligner number 5. I still have 5 more to go after this one and then they take new moldings and I get 10 more aligners. So I still have a long way to go but time goes by quite fast. I am happy, happy, happy. Really looking forward to my perfect smile. :D 20 months ago
