get my teeth straightened

I’ve had my braces on for 19 months. The orthodontist said that I have about one more month to go….how exciting! The time has gone by so fast and I am very happy with the results. In addition to smiling more, I have been taking better care of my teeth (brushing and flossing regularly), I’ve lost weight and the shape of my face has changed (for the better, it looks slimmer).

I had a brace for about 18 months as a 12-13 year old and then no retainer. My teeth were perfect. They were the days. Since my early 20s my front right tooth has decided to seek refuge behind its partner and is moving further and further back. I swear I can even feel my teeth moving at times, although I may be being paranoid…;-)
Anyway, have had an initial consultation with a new (and hopefully better) orthodontist so really just need to make the leap to commit to doing it now! Problem is that it seems that almost all of my ‘Things’ so far seem to cost money… Soon, though, I hope!

currently whitening my teeth using GoSMiLE. It is working well, but I truly need to straighten them . My wisdom teeth are making them more and more crooked.

just 20 years late but hey…

i’m very chuffed with myself too – my front top teeth are really crooked.

i only have to have these on for 6 – 8 months.

i think it’s pretty funny. at my age and all.

I’m 35 and got braces about two years ago. The braces require rubber bands now for some final tweaking. I’m not wearing the rubber bands like I should, so will probably have these puppies on for another 6 months longer than anticipated! Augggh! Silly me. I need to talk to customers, and rubber bands get in the way.

Anyway, the Doctor had a great number of payment plans. I was able to use one that met my needs. I chose an ‘old school’ doctor instead of the newer Doctors in town. I had to have a tooth removed, but some people have to go through worse.

The worst pain I’ve had was the first week with the braces. We started with the uppers. While the periodontal ligament was stretched I thought I was going to die. Fortunately I was able to get Hydrocodone from my regular Dentist. At least that made me forget about the pain for a while. ;-)

Well again I have to take a step back on this one…

Simply don’t have the money right now. It’s really frustrating because it’s something that I am so self concious about.

At this stage I can’t even guess when phase 2 starts because I don’t even have the money for that.

Really annoyed by this!

i want straight teeth because I feel I would have so much more confidence !

heading to the dentist I cringed – thinking for sure I’d be up for another root canal! Not so bad… I do need a mouthguard to sleep in. apparently I am grinding my teeth, hence the toothache. The denist gave me a 3 phase treatment plan. Next trip I get the mouthguard and next I go for whitening and then straightening. Now I just gotta come up with the cash!

My mouth stopped hurting yesterday at noon! Keep praying please! Go away wisdom teeth, I want to be young and stupid.

My wisdom teeth are coming in! My mouth hurts and all my teeth are going to get more crowded but I can’t afford surgery. Pray that they go back up into my head. :(
