ive never owned a bikini and thats because im over weight and i have stretch marks but im going to lose weight improve the appearance of my stretch marks and some day soon i hope. i will wear a bikini!

How I did it: I think the main problem many people have wearing bikinis is self-consciousness. But really take a long hard look at everyone else on the beach or in the pool and realize that you are all human. A bikini does not really reveal more than a bathing suit, just skin. If worn with confidence, it feels wonderful. Lessons & tips: Get to a store and spend some money on a bikini that flatters you -- don't go too itsy-bitsy especially if you are self conscious. I wore a two piece once like 5 years ago when I was about 16. My body wasnt great then but it was a tankini (so doesnt count) and my sister bought it for me at the last minute (I didnt even know we were going to a water park until that night). Anyway it wasnt terrible wearing it but I want to wear a real two piece that actually shows my stomach.

I’ve never owned a bikini. I’ve always been kind of chubby most of my life so whenever I went swimming it was t-shirts and shorts for me. But I’ve recently lost 33 lbs (yay!) and I’ve decided that enough is enough. I saw some really cute and supportive ones in Victoria’s Secret the other day with underwires (because I have a “generous” chest – lol!) I’ve decided I’m going to do it this summer.
I’m nervous! I’m still not at my “goal weight” yet (125 lbs – I’ve got 8 lbs to go,) but I figure it’s now or never. I’m sure when I get to 125, unfortunately, I’ll still find something to be unhappy or nervous about and find yet another excuse to not wear a bikini. So I have to just get over it now. I hope I can do it.

I’ve always wanted to wear one but I’m a very self conscious gal. It’s my weight. Don’t get me wrong I’m not a hundred pounds overweight or even overweight at all but I still have some flab I’d like to get rid of. And only after I get a bod I feel good enough to show off will I wear one.

I am overweight (lots) of stretch marks on my hips, leg hair and worst of all I have really bad acne on my back. I look disgusting. The last time I was seen at a beach I was wearing a t-shirt and knee length boardies which is not that flattering!
