Amaryllis Miranda is unremittingly transient but being cautiously optimistic
I used to eat cockaroaches when I was a baby by the hand full.; my mom had poison control on speed dial cuz I ate everything lol
But yeah, it’s happened a few times over the years and not on purpose. Like when we were moving into our new house, and after the first night we slept in it in the morning when I was having a bowl of cereal, I found some dead flys in my bowl when I was half way done… Wasn’t a plasant day, but it was a learning expirience, cuz I learned to check my food before I eat it!
in seventh grade, for extra credit in science, we could eat live bugs. there were meal worms and crickets, and i chose a cricket. for my second, i chose a cricket dipped in chocolate.
it wasn’t too bad, until a cricket leg stuck in my braces started twitching.
I was waiting for a cross country flight in a dirt-floor airport hanger in Peru and I ate a bug (to shock the kids I was traveling with) I lived to tell the tale.
LovelyStrife I've got to go; gotta leave you all behind and face the truth!
_< I ate a bug when I was riding with my dad on a motorcycle, and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. I hated how it kindsa squirmed when it went down my throat, it really made me gag.
~~Strife
it was black outside, green inside, has no taste really, and the look on my roommate’s face when I bit into it… was worth every bit of it. LOL

The author of the “Eat a Bug Cookbook” had a book signing and cooking demo at a museum in Seattle, so I ate a bug or two. Here’s more info about the book:

Nothing like running along on a perfect day, actually enjoying running for the first time in a long time, and swallowing a very large fly!
Yuck! Got to stop talking and running!
Ok so I like to pop popcorn every once in a while. And sometimes I am really lazy about cleaning the pans and things, especially if it’s only been a few days and I’m using it for the same thing every time. Well I should have at least taken a look in the inside to see the maggots evolving in my popcorn pot. I just poured the popcorn and started the burner and poped it all up and dumped it into a bowl and ate it all. I thought at first that they were just the crispy corns at the bottom that taste all burnt and good… but it wasn’t that at all. But I have to admit, fried maggots do taste pretty good… Oh God I can’t believe I’m saying this.
Folks.. Always wash your pots and pans
