Dissidence hates that aching feeling...

I would love a little dog. 6 months ago

I would like to get a chihuahua dog, preferably the small T-cup or miniature kind (I’m not too clued up on dog breeding because I’ve never owned a dog before). I don’t like big dogs as they’re a bit overwhelming and they jump up on you a lot.

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to afford one, to be honest. I don’t really care about the pedigree nonsense – if I could get a mixed breed dog that would stay that small then I would. I’d buy it to love and care for, not because of some elitist system that favours pure bloodlines. But I’ve heard that small mixed breed dogs are the same price, so it’s not much difference.

Maybe once a few of my other goals are completed, I’ll be in a position to get my own dog. I don’t fancy having to visit breeders though. The whole business seems more about money than pets as companions. But who knows!

My little toby and coco 9 months ago

I got my first pet when me and my brother was seven my little
sister was almost two. We got a fat golden retriver named Lolly i hated that dog (I love all dogs just not Lolly) She bite my all the time and she would push down my little sister. So when i was eight we gave Lolly to my couson and we only had five cats, two fish, and one guina pig. But me and my brother begged and begged and we got a cute wittle baby chihuahua!!! TOBY!!! He was only eight months he was so cute and soft!!! He loved me and my brother but he hates my little sister and when my mom gets too close to me and my brother he starts barking! =] Then my mom started working when my little sister started school and poor wittle Toby was alone at home so we got him a little sister! COCO!!! Omg!!! I think my little sister only likes big dogs because when we got Coco, The wittle pup bite her on the knee ever since then Coco never went to my little sister! Coco and Toby are the best puppies in the world!!! (there not puppies anymore because: Toby’s four and Coco’s two.) Also Coco loves my mom! And my little sister has a minture-pinture named Bella.
Ps. We have 3 dogs,4 cats, six goldfish, four gerbils, and a fat chubby gunia pig!
Pss. Toby, coco, Bella = 3 dogs. Milky, Carly, Tweenie, twinkie,= 4 cats, we don’t name our fish, Kiwi, Racer, Snowy, Bubbles= 4 gerbils, and 1 fat guina pig named Mickey = 12 pets – 1 cat = 11 pets

Pedro. 13 months ago

He was given to me by my aunt in 2004, it was completely unintentional because she had actually planned to keep him. However, she had a small Poodle at the time and they didn’t get along too well. So, I’m glad things happened the way they did because I know for a fact he’s the best gift I’ve ever recieved. :]

Never meant to 16 months ago

I have always preferred big dogs, and all the Chihuahuas I had ever encountered were nervous little barkers. My husband surprised me with Ruby and life has never been the same. She is completely devoted to both of us and has us both wrapped around her paw. So full of personality. She is a little standoffish with strangers at first, but she comes around and they all end up in love with her too. Totally spoiled.

I really want a dog I can just spoil rotten and love forever. Some day I plan to do this!

Sadly Closer To This Goal 21 months ago

We had to put my husband’s 13 year old mutt, Gizmo, down shortly before Christmas. She was VERY sick and we couldn’t afford the $300 in tests or $1500 for exploratory surgery which may or may not have told us what was wrong with her. I’d never held any of my dogs while they were put down, since I cry like a little girl when any animal dies, but since my husband couldn’t be there I “man-ed up” and did it.

My husband has gotten some comfort from my mom’s chihuahua, Lola, since she worships the ground he walks on. :) Mom even offered to give Lola to us since my husband loves her, but our 18 year old cat isn’t too keen on the idea. So for now I’m without my Chi but the status quo is still good for me.

I’d like to own a chihuahua.I can feed him, play with him, dress him up if he want.I’ll promenade him along the Maldives’s seashore.
We lay on the ground, seeing the ascene of white after a heavy snow.
Running with him before both sunset and sunrise is must be cool.
Swimming with him in a mountain lake is one of my plans.
Getting a chihuahua consummates my happiness.I can’t wait.

Too bad my mom can’t stand dogs. Idk, why. I’ve wanted one since I was about 5 yrs. old. So when I get my own place, I will make sure I get one!
