Okay, it’s not funds we’re waiting on now.. it’s time. I’m working 45+ hours a week 3rd shift and going to school fulltime, only one of us drives, so it’s a matter of waiting until the Spring semester is done, and then we’ll find a place. i hope i hope!

so far so good. i have two potential roommates and its looking good for a move in around April 1.
Hopefully will be able to use some, and hopefully not all of, a tax refund this year to move. The move will pay for itself within a year, due to the amount we spend on gasoline now.
I am going to have to give up on this one for now. I cannot afford to move yet. Houses are much more expensive near my office. The commute is getting a little better since school has been in for a while now. I’ll re-visit this later.
I currently live 20 miles from work. You wouldn’t think that is bad except road improvements are not keeping up with the number of homes that are being built where I live. There is major construction on the interstate near where I live that will be done in 2 years but that does me no good now. If it rains, which is frequently does where I live, I can take me anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 hours. No fun I tell ya! Changing jobs is not an option as I love where I work. I do love my home that we bought 3 years ago but know I would be happier if I work closer to home. Now I am so exhausted from commuting, my home is suffering. Plus another reason for moving would be for my son. I have kept him in the same school district since kindergarten and he is now in 9th grade. If we moved closer to my work this would also put us closer to where he goes to school so it would be a win win situation for all.
See live alone; when I moved to my own apartment it was quite a bit closer to work. Now my drive is about 30 minutes or so versus at least 45 before.
Moving closer to work frees up so much time, andd relieves so much stress because I am not stuck in traffic. Your quality of life is much better!
I live .3 miles from work, and 40 miles from anything else worth going to.
