Keep in touch with former students

email from a former student – she was one of my favourites.
And I like her way of looking at the world, she’s an extremely reliable observer.

Young students and old teacher communicate.
Building up a network.

and writing a letter to one of those – replied to a post by another one.
They are also part of my personal history. And as much as I don’t want to fall prey to oblivion as much do I want to know of some of them what they are up to and whether they remember me.
I remember my teachers very well, but hardly meet any of them.

I met one of them.
And I thought, well, it would be nice not to lose them out of sight.
But know what they are up to, where they are heading, how well they fare – or what problems they might be confronted with.
