I bought it Sunday night and yesterday it was here when I was back from work. Of course, as I get in, I spend some time reading the manual and shaving my legs :D
Great to know the things will be more practical now!
How I did it: I've been thinking about buy an epilator for a long time, but just now I could get all the money to it. I spend some time last Sunday searching the different models and the pros and againsts of each one. I think the Wet/Dry of Panasonic is the best one to me. I can use it with liquid soup in the shower and it has another heads to special parts of the body.
Lessons & tips: It hurts a little at first (it was really just a little), but easily I could be used with it. I think it will be less hurt in the next times. The soap makes to process more confortable too. Buying it in a big magazine site gave me 100 days as adapting time. During this time, I can get my money back if I want.
Resources: Big magazines's sites, forums about the subject tips from friends that already have epilator.

i got my epilater half price from argos today. braun silk-epil.
it is ace. it hurts so much less than i was expecting. and works. yay.
I used my shiney new epilator for the first time today. I was pleasantly surprised – it was much less painful than my housemates epilator which I borrowed last year.
All in all, this is the future of hair removal for me. Less painful than waxing, no nasty shaving rashes, longer-lasting than shaving and you don’t have to wait for the hair to regrow as long before you can epilate again as you do before you wax.
Epiltor arrived today. As to if it’s worth it or not – I guess time will tell.
