    We took the binoculars and the book out a while back and watched the birds on the coast. There was a protected area for Snowy plovers but we didn’t see any of those. We did watch a great blue heron and what was probably a red tail hawk, as well as other smaller birds. It was a lot of fun and I hope we do it again soon.
