Wear more dresses

in dresses, but that’s not a bad thing. As long as I’m a good-looking drag queen.

I like the simplicity of dresses. One piece of cloth + underwear and shoes = done! I’ll have to play around with this idea a bit to see if it’ll actually work though, especially in colder weather. That and I have the tendency to buzz my hair, which tends to look better with androgynous clothes, not dresses.

Maybe I’ll check out Goodwill tomorrow to see if anything inspires me.

Even better cause my legs never really got tan during this so-called summer and I continued to be very insecure (next year, next year). Looking forward to wool and dark colors and boots! And I vow to make a serious attempt to wear a dress once a week…

At least I think so, and that was just today. They say that tomorrow’s gonna be the hottest day of the year. I wore my flowery vintagey dress to the office today, and for tomorrow, well, there are so many dresses to choose from, especially since we’re going to run away for the day and don’t need to be dressed formally… I celebrate this nice weather as much as I can.

I was so desperate that I went out and bought a pair of leggings. And that’s not really a fashion statement I’d like to make. But, blissfully, summer’s finally here with 33° C and sunshine. Not only was it warm enough to wear dresses on Saturday and Sunday, but my legs have also finally lost that wintry white. I hope for more sunny days!

Not under the current conditions, when it’s not even 20°C. It’s freezing! It’s sad because I bought six new dresses (all from Zara), and my feet are sandal-ready too, so where is summer? Might have to get tights, or, gasp, leggings? and combine my dresses with winter boots if this kind of weather continues.

It’s a dress I bought on a sale when I was at Brasilia for work last month. Ok, the other purple one was to the wedding and this one isn’t as cheap as I’d like, but I was in love for it and had to get it. It has a 50’s style and I always prefer retro things. It’s more classical and my style. I used it with my red shoes. And it seems purple is the color of this summer: many people was with purple dresses there, including my friend in the picture.

It’s so great to see Suzana getting married. She was the first friends I saw in a wedding dress and she and Felipe was the first couple in the group. Jack and I almost cried there :D
Su, Jack (in the picture) and I were classmates and great friends on college: they’ve already graduated and I still there trying it. Incredible that Felipe and Suzana was classmates since junior high and high school and was with us until college too. They just dated in the second year of college, after years of friendship. It’s so happy to see a love story getting well, it’s inspiring. They are now living on Rio de Janeiro and I miss her so much.

This goal is kind of ongoing. I’ve certainly worn MORE dresses than when I first posted this goal, but I can still do better. I guess I will say it’s completed when I wear about one dress per week on a regular basis.

ive got a few nice day dresses now.. and they are so comfy and easy to put on and whatnot.. who cares what i look like ha they are comfy as.. so much better than jeans and they make me feel like a lady
