Cat shows can seem boring compared to dog shows, unless you have the opportunity to see ICAT, cat agility. Otherwise, expect to see immaculately groomed pedigreed pets and household pets, too, in fancy cages. I’ve been breeding and showing for five years. I started with showing rescued household pets in TICA.

I think I could cause quite a stir without really doing anything!!!
(Even though I am a very nice dog, sometimes I am a little mischievious!!!)
(In Shoreline, just north of Seattle.)
Took my son, who loves cats. It’s all just regular-old cats, and contests like, “Spottiest Cat,” “Biggest Cat,” the Cat-Person Look-alike contest. Good fun, for a good cause (the Purrfect Pals no-kill shelter)!

Search for cat shows sponsored by the CFA and you walk around to see all the cats on show. They have judging rings where they put the cat on a table and the judge describes the qualities. Lots of fun.
