get into the college of my choice

and also, i am doing this again because… after my 4 undergrad years [that actually matter to my life as opposed to high school!!],
there’s always my masters… :)

didn’t happen. i was rejected from actually many colleges, including uc santa barbara, cal poly slo, and the “college of my choice”, uc davis. i still have not heard from uc san diego, ucla, or uc irvine, but the chances for the first two are slim to none. irvine i’m not holding out for anyway.

but the absolute optimist in me says that this is just the way my life’s supposed to flow, though i don’t see this event as any kind of set back of even something to overcome or get over. high school wasn’t taken seriously enough and with actions there are consequences? and honestly, it didn’t matter “that much” to me to get in wherever because the way i see it, life has so many pathways and this is just the first one i have to choose the path for.

so my choices include san diego state, san francisco state, and uc riverside… oh, and moorpark, the local jc, though i really don’t see that happening. i took a look at uc riverside and i don’t think it is for me. san francisco is too far away for right now and my father is against it. but i am very satisfied and perhaps even content with san diego state.

in the end i know that the possibilities will always be endless.

and quite frankly, i’m very excited for this new pathway and college. ;)

Hmm. College. What a stressful yet exciting subject. Well, I would love to travel far and go to college in North Carolina or something. At the same time, I’m completely content going to West Chester so I can be close to my family and still have the college experience. Im pretty sure I would love to go to West Chester. My goal this year is to work hard and get good enough grades that I can go to the college of my choice and not feel pressured into one or the other.
