I’m trying to get in better shape, but I’m super lazy. My poor dog gets walked about once a month, and she’s a large dog who needs to stretch her legs.

I’m rolling this into my “morning ritual” and “Best Week Ever” goals.
So, not done, not abandoned, but moved.

Doesn’t have to be a long one. But I want to get more excersize, and right now I have days when I don’t even leave the house.
I think I’ll start with the goal of making it as far as my mailbox every day.

Walking on a summer evening is very pleasant, but walking in the dark on a winter evening is less so.
I walk to my office and back most days, but that’s only 15 minutes each way. I should really walk for at least an hour.
I have an audiobook which is 32 hours long! If I were to walk whilst listening to an hour’s worth every day, this could motivate me for a month! I hope it’s a good story.
dniz18 I will try to be myself
just walk, whenyou walk you can think about yourself and also do something for your body…so thats a good goal.

Didn’t end up happening, going to change this goal to something else

Well, I was doing pretty well on this goal at first. I was making sure to head out at least once a day, even if it was just around the block. Then I don’t know what happened. It rained a lot one week, then got really hot, and I got reeeaaal lazy. I love summer so much and I feel like I waste so much of it indoors. I wish I lived somewhere beautiful so I would be more excited to actually walk once in a while. Chicago suburbs are not the most visually beautiful places on earth. One day I’d love to move out of the midwest.
I use to a few months ago but i got a boyfriend then stopped.
Now i’m single again i should start walking again.
Clear my mind

I spent the last six days at the lake, camping. I got in a good bit of walking each day while I was there. And then when I got home yesterday, I took another walk to the mailbox and to my sister’s house, next door. I know ‘next door’ doesn’t sound like much of a walk but out here in the country, next door is about a block away! Saturday evening I added dancing to the walk routine as well. It is amazing to me what a live band can bring out of me! I would rather dance everyday than walk anywhere!
