go on tour with Wilco

Man, have you heard Kicking Television? Seriously, usually live albums don’t hold my attention for very long except for legends who are known for their live abilities, but I can’t stop listening to it. Damn Jeff Tweedy is awesome.

I love live music. I used to follow the Dead in the 80s and it was a lot of fun. Then I went to college, got a job, bought a house and and basically lost touch with the thrill of seeing live music everyday. I have seen Wilco several times over the years and they always put on an entertaining and often intriguing show. I think it would be great fun to see them on tour for at least 4 or 5 nights in a row, preferably longer. They are a great band that is ‘more or less’ peaking creatively. I chose Wilco because they write great songs. I do not like traditional ‘jammy’ bands. Those bands bore me to tears.
