I have a plan for this…

I’m very proud of the fact that I was able to resist bacon – the food I was most worried about! (LOL!)
Well, now I feel as if I can almost resist anything un-kosher…...almost.
I still have a few things to work out….like pop…
I’m starting the difficult process of going Kosher in a town with a very small Jewish community.
Wish me luck! and may the Grocery Stores be better stocked than I imagine they will be….
This week I watched Fast Food Nation- so grateful I have been keeping kosher eating only kosher properly butchered meat!
all has changed, but i need only new , exclusive forks!
so my sister in law doesn’t use it
okay, the Rabbi is coming with his blow torch-it’s not going to make the landlord happy…....oh well
yes, my sister in law, live her non kasher around to keep my kitchen impure… what a thing uhh…
ok now, i need to teach my nephew to do not eat pork & grab clean dishes…. My sister in law is really a thing!! but is not her fault is her mother fault because she did not teach her anything.
How do you deal with visiting a parent or relative’s house where the standard of kashrut is not as high as you are accustomed to?
One more step and I will be totally kosher- it’s so much easier in a big city! All I have to do is kasher the kitchen which is more of a money issue than anything else. After my daughter’s bday new pots,pans,dishes-out with the old in with the new! yeah baby, almost there!
