So far I guess I’m doing pretty well learning from Fr. P. talking to Teddy, occasionally asking him what on earth he’s saying.
How to learn romanian
How I did it: I was raised bilingual, so I didn't think it was hard :) But definitely worth learning, it's a beautiful language and helps you catch the other romance languages faster.
The link below is a collection of the most useful resources (links to websites, videos, learning resources,
books etc.) to help you learn to speak Romanian efficiently.

Well, I probably would’ve never considered this goal in any other circumstance, but I have 2 younger cousins that are adopted from Romania. And since then, I started developing an interest in the language… I did some research, and it seems like a pretty interesting language, it should be fun, but I’d need an actual teacher. I don’t think I’m capable of learning a language by myself (all those self-help programs are sort of crap). I hope to someday do this, and visit Romania, but for now I’m taking both Spanish and Arabic classes. So this language will just have to wait!
Buna ziua!
Sunt din Romania, stiu bine limba romana! Imi place ca asa multa lume incearca sa invete!
Cu bine si SARBATORI FERICITE!!!
i can easily remember some basic phrases, but i can’t seem to learn any more right now =/ maybe i need to learn from a different source for a bit =)
I studied Romanian at university for a while quite a long time ago and really want to get back into studying it again.

Well, we speak it at home so I know it! It’s a beautiful language and it sounds a lot like italian. Its grammer is complicated though!
romania is such an awesome country or so i have come to believe from all the pictures and testimonies. and i love the romanian language and i know some valuable words that i have learned from songs. i can understand most words in romanian, but some are just totally incomprehendable for me.
It may come to use in chatting with my boyfriend’s family. Better than just smiling at them over dinner :)
It’s probably a good thing to learn a Romance language. Probably an even better idea to forgo the overdone ones like Spanish and French and represent an underrated and equally beautiful language.
Once again, it is nice to follow through on these. I took about three months of lessons with a professor in IaÅŸi via Skype. If you are interested, I recommend him. You just need a lot of time and dedication, and also a thick skin. In addition, I have been attending a Romanian language meetup group, and doing a lot of Romanian-language related things. I even was able to do some basic translation.
