talk about liberationnnnnn… this felt so good. i don’t believe in hurting people, but sometimes you need to just stick up for what you deserve.
People doing this are also doing these things:

It’s worth it. If someone is disrespecting you and you didn’t do anything to them, let them have it! Don’t go nuts, just show them that you don’t appreciate it.
For example, there’s this girl, Megan. She’s been mean to me at various times (and we’re in college so you think she’d be mature? Please) She’s literally proud to call herself a slut and she makes fun of me for my vision, I’m visually impaired.
So anyway, at the very beginning of the school year in September, she was giving me shit and I said “fuck you!” loudly and then a few minutes later she said sommething else and I opend my mouth and shouted so lound the whole WHOLE room herad me and everything got dead quiet as my voice filled the room:
“BITCH, YOU GIVE OUT BLOWJOBS LIKE THEY’RE HANDSHAKES!”
and she was OWNED!! I won!
She slunk away, with a meek attempt at a comeback, but no luck. I instatnly won the respect of my new friends, They were like “that was awesome, someone finally told her off,” and “that was really cool” said the cute guy I was crushing on at the time! hehe!
Just do it. don’t be cruel, just snarky and honest. And ASSERTIVE, DAMNIT! Standing up for yourself is always admirable.
Good luck everyone! :D
It’s never good to be cruel. But if someone has attempted to walk all over me over and over and over again, I have to say something, even if my words might hurt them.
phrase_that_pays "Man, Everyone's gay once in a while."
I just want to get really pissed off at someone and for once in my life I want to say what I am feeling instead of holding it all in. I know it will most likely come out like shit and make no sense but that’s not the point. I want to know if I acctually have enough courage to scream at someone.
Me along with almost everyone on this bus bitched out this guy the other day…on a packed bus he was taking up two seats, himself and a bag of clothing. He wouldn’t move his stuff for an elderly woman to sit, I could not believe it. So I stepped in a asked him politely, but he still said no, and as if he were five years old said , “You’re not the boss of me.” Wow, good one. Everyone else started stepping in, and this guy still refused. The bus driver came and yelled at him, and then wouldn’t move the bus till he moved his shit. Everyone was pissed, especially people that had places to be.
It was unbelievable, it was as if this guy was out there to piss people off, and he wasn’t even a big tough guy or anything, he was wearing corduroys! I told him to learn some fucking common courtesy and respect and he said to everyone “Because you people don’t deserve it!” And I was like, “Oh and you do?!” One kid was talking to him saying, “How would you like a skateboard in the teeth?!” I secretly wanted him to do it. We were contemplating just taking his stupid little bag and throwing it off the bus since we were situated at the 3 seats that are in front of the back exit.
Ridiculous, so incredibly ridiculous. And it wasn’t as if it were worth it in the end for him, he just moved his bag after about 15 minutes of the entire bus yelling at him.
I just can’t believe there are people like that in this world.
No, I don’t have anybody specific in mind but it occurs to me that I’m not sure I’ve EVER really read someone the riot act and darn it, that seems like something everyone ought to stand up for themselves and do at least once in their life, don’t you think?
