Ride on an airboat through the Everglades

I am going to try this soon, maybe with my daughters, my sister, and her family, and my brother and his family too.

So worth doing!! Whoo Hoo!

Mom, Dad and I took a boat ride with Loxahatchee Everglades Airboat Tours on Friday. We had an absolute blast! The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and the boat was clean and comfy.

I’d really like to go again on a smaller boat that takes a little more time to stop and look at the wildlife, and learn a bit more about the ecosystem. We did stop a few times on this tour to look at some very-hidden-in-the-reeds gators, but I wouldn’t recommend the company for anything else other than a fun ride through the ‘glades.

are arriving on the 19th, and apparently really want to do this too, so I guess I’ll be crossing this off soon. :)

I’ve lived in Florida for close to three years, and been to the Everglades loads of times, but still haven’t done this. And it looks so cool! Gotta do it soon….
