improve my digital photography skills

b/c somebody actually “favorited” one of the pictures I shot on flickr.
And it wasn’t just somebody who thought my wife is cute; this was a “non-Yvonne” pic.
Turns out dude has four total pictures in his photostream and they’re all coffins.
Hmm,,,not very uplifting..:(

Today I found out how to switch between normal, macro, and infinity modes.
I learned that macro and flash typically dont mix very well.
My avatar changed after I was so pleased with my macro shot. I plan on this reminding me to track my finances.

Seeing how Reesie, Chris Campbell and other flickr afficiandoes are constantly bettering their craft, I thought I’d through my hat into the ring.
First off, though I upload everything to flickr, I’m starting to put to “private” those pictures which basically suck and/or blow.
Second, my wife has just provided me with the operator’s manual to our digital camera.
I suppose I need to read it.

While my son is still (very) young, I want to be sure I am getting the best pics possible of him and utilizing the features of my digital camera to the max.
