I’ve put The Va Dinci Cod and The Soddit on hold at the library. The completion of these books will mean the completion of this goal! Finally I would have tacked one of my many reading goals!!
Both the books are also by the same author. I would have prefered to read ‘bored of the rings’ but its not at the library and I’m not going to wait for them to order it in. This one will do. 5 years ago

50 Years of the Chaser – Andrew Hansen, Julien First, Chas etc

This is pretty much a parody of current affairs and interesting stories made into the form of news articles and published into a 120 page book. Absolutely wonderful and very creative. I love the chaser boys for their incredible creativity and incredibly witty writing. Also check out the CNNNN DVD or the Chasers war on everything DVD probably on amazon.com though they might not be. Absolutely hilarious stuff! 5 years ago

Barry Trotter and the Unnecessary Sequel – Michael Gerber.

Michael Gerber is a great parody author, as this is the third of his books i have read, so far.

This is a hilarious tale of four little brats. The youngest, Loo must constantly be protected by her brothers and sister as she tries to invent new ways to kill herself, or somehow ‘accidentally’ get killed. This is definately worth reading if you want a quicky, easy read that will put a smile on your face. Warning: Do not read unless you have read The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe 5 years ago

There is nothing better than reading a parody to cheer up your day!

I’ve already read ‘The Asti Spumante Code’ ...a great parody of the da vinci code.
And I am currently reading ‘Barry Trotter and the shameless parody’
I’m hoping to read more barry trotter books and also the parody of the lion, the witch and the wardrobe amongst others. 5 years ago
