...I didn’t really picture myself doing this when I first came across this goal. But the more I read people’s posts about this goal, and the more I thought about leaving a random letter in a book, the more I liked the idea. I started to wonder what I would write about, which book I would leave it in. Would someone find my letter? Would it be years before it was found?
I’m still not entirely sure what I’ll write about, but I really want to do this now. Hopefully I can mark this goal as completed fairly soon. ^^

sue820 Be the change you wish to see in the world.
I sometimes find business cards in library or used books, often for counseling services in some self-help books. Got this off Bubblesburst’s list.

First, I would need to achieve what should be a goal of going to the library more because I love the peacefulness of libraries. I love the idea of this because it would possibly inspire someone else to achieve something they’ve never done before.

Today was my last day of freshman year, so I wanted to finally complete this goal. I put it in a book called “Call to Adventure,” which seemed appropriately titled considering the type of information my letter entailed. However, when I opened the book, no one has checked this book out – ever. Although no one may ever read my letter, perhaps many, many years from now, even after I’m gone, someone will open it up (finally). My little secret. :-)

I am now in the process of writing the letter. I am going to put it in “Keeping You A Secret” by Julie Ann Peters. When I have written the letter, I’ll post it.

- I check out one book.
- And I read it.
- I make a note for that book.
- While I’m in the library, I look for another book.
- I write the name of that book down on the other note.
- Then I stick the note in the first book, and return the book.
- When I’m done with that book, I leave note in it giving a clue to the next book I will read.
Its a never ending trail. :)

I left one in “The Secret Life of Bees”. It was kinda long. I guess I had alot to write hehe. And I left the ‘Dance, Love, Sing, Live’ quote in a Maya Angelou book too. I was a little worried they would have checked the book when I returned it but they now have this new system where you put the books on a conveyor belt. I pushed it threw and bolted lol…it was interesting.
