- thinking more before I speak
- NO “like,” “but…/and… yeah”

In advertising and sales, you need to be persuasive and extremely clear. Especially with clients and creatives. So yeah I wanna speak better.
my brain is melting from lack of stimulation. let’s see if i can reverse this.
I find that I can be extremely articulate and concise when explaining something to only one person, but with the added pressure of having to stand up and speak in front of a room just creates a mental block from my brain to my mouth.
I have a presentation on Tuesday. I’m going to practice(x1000000)!
I’ve come to realize that the inability I have of putting in words my thoughts is really damaging my confidence and affection other peoples perception of me. Sometimes it happens, that I know the answers of the teacher question but I’m unable of responding because I don’t know how to say it. I really want this to change..and I am determined to make that change happen. I know I can do better.
I’m failing badly at this. If anything I’m becoming less articulate. Presentations = BAD
The participation part of my Critical Thinking about Narratives class is kicking my ass right now! I’ve mumbled maybe a few words that the TA coaxed out of me, but that’s it. I don’t want to say anything because the other people in my class say it so much better than I do. I’ve gotta start learning to think on my feet more.
I’m going to learn one word a day and hopefully use it in a sentence. I should probably make that a goal.
