I love mix cds… Aleyxs sent me a CD all the way from CA. It was very indie (which I know is not a genre, but I don’t know how else to describe it!) flavored, which I liked. Journal Burning Party by David Dondero, Two Beers Later by Cadallaca, and No Children by The Mountain Goats were my favorites of the CD. Very very good. I’ll be sure to share it with everyone I know.

I received my mix from Jamity ! yay. I can cross this off my list. Unfortunately, in my recent flurry of activity, carting the cd around with me to try to listen to it whenever I have a moment, I lost the track list before I could input the titles to itunes:(. However, I can say that it is 20 songs, & has artists such as: the dandy warhols, beck, the decemberists, belle & sebastian, and thank you jamity! (And if you wouldn’t mind, and you still have it, another track list would be greatly appreciated via comment on this entry and or e-mail.)

The CD, for me, reminds me of high school. (Which, I mean in no way as an insult. It just makes me feel like I felt in high school. The dandy warhols used to be one of my favorite… and even though I’m still young.. I do get reminiscent of my even younger days.) Well done, and I’m hoping to get some feed back from her on what I felt was a very well put together mix.

Today, i received a surprise mix from goingmyway. It was appropriately Texas themed. I listened to about 80% of it while cooking dinner tonight. It fit the theme well(with a few noted deviations), was a lot of artists i don’t normally listen to(nice change of pace), and i love one of the artists on it that I had never heard before (Robert Earl Keen). I will have to reciprocate with a California themed mix.
