start a trend

In spanish, I tear my index cards in half since I don’t need the huge thing for one word. I seen some other girl do it too. That’s so not a trend, yet!

I bought my dog a pink collor that has fake pink jewel things on it. Since she hates it and tries to chew it off, I’ve been wearing it like a bracelet. I’m hoping that catches on =] it looks really cool

Could go either way. Although they say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, it can get annoying.

k so i totaly forgot this was on my list ans just like a week ago my friend pointed out to me that i had started a trend. so i was sick of my hair.. so i glued some ribon on a headband and pimped it out… well like this week i noticed that about six of the twenty girls in my grade were wearing thier hair the same. yeah… its cool i started a trend… nut the whole headband thing isnt special anymore… kinduh sux!!

i feel like i always want to do something, like wear moccasins or leg warmers or like.. i dunno.. go to barnes and noble and chill there or anything, like i have good ideas but i don’t do them and then some one else does it and i’m like… i thought of that. but i dont get any credit for thinking about it. i guess i need to do more.. be more daring.. and take risks and stuff. its also about money though… like if i want to wear moccasins but i cant find a pair i like that are reasonably priced. but whatever. its just starting one trend so next time i have a cool idea, i’ll just go for it.

It sounds so corny… but I did it without even knowing and it happened in the MySpace forums. I am a Forum Reg and a geek and I was complaining about the appearence of my home page with the scripts I have, and started posting screen caps of it so people could see what I was talking about nd before you know it every one was posting images of their homepage explaining what they had and what they wanted.

I have never been the person who wants to be popular and I have never had to worry about being heard, but I have to ask myself, why the hell do I want to start a trend?

I have started a few trends especially among my group of friends on MySpace, but I was a start a trend outside of the internet world. I guess it could help if I actually knew people in this town, besides the girl that cuts my hair. I am already very different, and every time I go out people stare, I guess it has to do with the hot pink hair and the face peircings, but I was to start something that will catch on that people won’t forget….

I just don’t know what…..

I got this cute purse for my birthday. I had it for about two weeks and then everyone had one. I didn’t even want to wear it anymore because of the number of people who had it.

Ok well the first thing yuo need to do is find something obscure and that has not been partucularly cool for a while…And then wear it or use it in a way that noone else has ever done. Then if someone asks why you are wearing/doing it that way, you need to say “oh were you not aware? Everyone is doing this in Tokyo!” (Most people won’t be going to Tokyo to check it out!) Before long everyone will be doing it. I take the credit for recent return of the 70’s flourescents!

I think ive started a few trends. i think the best way to do it is do something that other people normally wouldnt do. if its unique then its your own trend. i started like the pajamas at school trend and the moccasin thing and i have this other crazy idea but i havent came through with it yet. also i always wear ridiculous shoes or boots or w/e just things that catch peoples attention
