I’ve actually quit taking naps in the afternoon, but instead I’ve started taking them in the morning, right before going to school… It’s not as bad as afternoon naps because they’re usually shorter, and I just have to get up after them anyway. But I’ll try to stop. 2 years ago

Sleeping is just so much fun! =D I rather watch dreams than films. Sounds crazy maybe, but that’s how I sometimes feel.

After I got home from the gym, I relaxed for a bit and found I was seeping into my daily drowsy state. I convinced my sister to join me to leash up the dogs and take them for a walk. I was fighting it for the entire duration of the walk, which was about 20 minutes, not that long. I grabbed a juice box to boost my sugar as soon as I got home.
It’s hard, but I’m gonna fight it as long as I can! I have another squash game tonight, and I’ll allow myself to finally sleep after that. 5 years ago

For some reason, I get really bad in the afternoons, usually around 2:30 or 3:00pm. I can’t stay awake, and I’ve tried staying away from my room, even my house just to stay awake. But if I’m out on my bike or at the gym, I just get so drowsy. I don’t know what it is.
I work shift work, which tends to throw off my sleep cycle. I don’t have a regular 24 hour cycle as most people do, as each day is different for me.
It could also have something to do with my morning shifts and perhaps my blood sugar levels or something, I don’t know. I work 5:30am twice a week, and those mornings I find I am the worst for napping in the afternoon. I have breakfast in the morning, but usually around 10 am I get an instant hunger craving. Usually I can satisfy it with something small.. but
I don’t know. Any suggestions? 5 years ago

I just slept for three hours… From 5 pm to 8 pm. =S I shouldn’t have done that. But tomorrow I’ll have a nap, with permission, because I’m going to watch a film on TV quite late, and I’d bee too tired at that point if I haden’t slept before that. But after tomorrow I’ll stop doing this! 5 years ago

I’ve started taking naps more frequently lately, I wonder why. Usually I get really tired in the afternoon, especially after eating, and then sleeping for a while just seems more tempting than doing my homework… But this is not good, because then I can’t get sleep in the evening, and then I’m tired the next day, and then I have to take a nap, and so on…
So I should just go earlier to bed and keep a steady rythm. But how to get more energy in the afternoon after eating when you just want to sleep and not do anything else? Does anyone know? 5 years ago
