keep a book journal

I’ve discovered that if I blog about the book, it works. I’ve kept it up through 5 books, so I am going to count this as done, and keep it up.

Honestly, I don’t think I can do this. Like I said, I read in the most random of places, I read many books at a time (like now I’m reading 3)... and I hate writing things down. Maybe an online journal someday, but not now.

I was trying to keep an entry for every chapter, but I don’t have the patience to carry my journal around (seeing as I read in the most random places), so maybe I’ll write an entry at the end of every book or during a part that really inspires me to say something? I don’t know. Does anyone have any tips for keeping with it?

I think I’ll consider this complete when I’ve kept it up through 20 books.

I like having my book journal because now that I’ve read and recorded my thoughts on the book, I can give the book away to someone else and get rid of my book clutter. Then, if I want to re-read it, I have the title and author already listed so I don’t have to hunt for it. :)

Well, it seems to be working out pretty well right now. I am able to keep track of the books I have read since starting it. I think I’m gonna make it! And I think it’s gonna be a good thing that I did this. You should do it too!

I just finished the first book I am going to journal. Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons by Lorna Landvik. The basic questions I am going to answer are:
What character was my favorite and why?
Which character do I most relate to and why?
Would I ever read it again?
Rate it.

I haven’t come up with more yet, but I am sure I will.

Took freaking forever, and of course I waited til the last minute, but it’s done.

I’m getting there!

Went back and completed four entries. Only 26 to go, haha. It’s taking a little longer than expected, but it’s not going too badly. This is why I have to complete the entries right after I read them, because right now I’m having to go back and remember the plot and characters and stuff.

...I’ve gone back and completed all the unfinished entries. :)

Edit: Yikes, I’ve got 30 entries to update. :(
