I made my husband two pairs of pants and two shirts and I help make my wedding dress. I have also crafted a number of skirts for myself and various simple pieces of clothing for my children. Diaper covers proved too challenging.
I find it a very rewarding exerpience. Though frustrating for me and time consuming. But I love seeing my husband wear his shirts and I love wearing the clothes I have made for myself that fit just right.
Oh, alright… and I love bragging that I made that cute pink outift my daughter wears with the dancing crane!
I will definitely continue to do this; though I recently moved out of the country and I don’t have an adaptor for my sewing machine! Sigh.
