ohio has a great Amish population
How to visit Amish country
It made me 
"An Amish dairy farm does not smell like fresh milk."
How I did it: We went to Lancaster, PA and drove through several of the tiny Amish towns like Bird-In-Hand and Intercourse. The most interesting part of the day was our buggy ride to a working Amish Farm. The farmer drove us through the Amish countryside and allowed us to walk through his farm & home. We met his family and were able to ask any questions we thought of. All of that was interesting, but honestly the most fun part of the whole trip was singing "Amish Paradise" by Weird Al over and over in the car!
Lessons & tips: Get your picture taken dressed up in real Amish clothing. It's hysterical and worth every penny.

I haven’t just visited Amih country, I live there! I love it here! Not just every town still has horses and buggies on the streets!
