get my own home

I want my own home with a wrap around porch, a nice big window in the front of the house, a big kitchen, a huge bathtub and closet in my bedroom, and three other bedrooms for my daughters and visiting relatives.

This is so worth it! Having your own home, your own front and back yard, your privacy! No Landlords, no other tenants to share a building with….....it is total heaven to own your own home! Not to mention it is the GREATEST tax shelter one can have! You can’t use RENT money as a tax shelter! If you’re paying a ton of money for rent, chances are you can AFFORD your very own home!

Well the last time I wrote about this was a year ago! Wow has time flown! Since this time the savings haven’t improved much but in the last 3/4 months I have set up a savings account that I can’t touch and have saved some English Pounds. We have also seen a Mortgage Advisor which was very good and not as scary as I thought! Now we are actually setting the date of Feb to start things going and seeing if we can get a place of our own! : ) Fingers crossed it will all be ok, scary but also very exciting!

I really am wanting to get my own place with Stevie now, I practically live at his place at the moment so it would be really nice to have a place which is our own with all our own things inside..A little “love nest!!” At the moment I have not been good at saving money at all but I am really wanting this to become a reality in the next couple of years anyway…Friends are now beginning to move out and settle down and I’m not at my parents home much now, feels bad to treat it as a hotel and not have any fixed abode…Saving must commence! Wish me luck!!
