sabryn okay...how about a calm December?
it’ll be fall. And I’d intended to do a fall clean anyway. So I’m making room for other things.

It’s coming. Probably in the next few days. I have got to do something about the cigarette smell…

Mostly because, well, I haven’t quit smoking yet. (Bad, I know. It’s coming. This not being able to breathe thing is getting very old.) I did actually clean yesterday, however – first time in 3 weeks. (Which is also bad, but I’ve been busy. :)
In my defense, we’re having a truly weird spring. We had something like two days of warm (not hot) weather, a week or so of quasi-summer…and now it’s 43 degrees and I’ve got the heat on. So I’m having a little trouble getting into the swing of the season. Last night I baked bread and made soup, which is fall food to me. My seasonal clock is all out of whack.
I’m thinking R will probably go home tomorrow, which will remove the lion’s share of my excuses for loafing on these goals. I really need to learn how to balance these things…

But I think I can still pull this off without sacrificing my weekends. I’ll just split the apartment into sections, as I did with the fall cleaning. It shouldn’t take so long this time, since I did a tremendous amount of purging last fall.
Right now I’m washing up my spring clothes. I tried them all on, and only came up with a few things that won’t be entering the closet. A handful are too small (and I am not losing any more weight) and are thus going to Goodwill; the rest are just a little too large and are being returned to storage in case I gain a few pounds.
Once I get the clothes sorted out, I’ll map out my plan of attack on the rest of the apartment.
