I lost 4-5 pounds this fall and don’t seem to have regained them, so we’re done. Next step: 23.5, which means being 1 or more pounds below my current weight nearly every time I step on the scale.

it slipped below 24 three times! It’s really motivated me to eat a little healthier & find ways to sneak in 15 minutes of movement. I can’t wait to mark this goal as done and move on to 23.5 (baby steps, y’all!).
I should mention that this goal is phrased in terms of BMI not because I think BMI is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but rather because I’m less self-conscious posting my BMI than my actual weight in pounds. And as long as my height stays constant (stand up straight, Asterisk!), they amount to exactly the same thing.

which is the uppermost end of “not overweight.” I’d like to gradually take it down to the middle of the normal weight range, rather than the high end. The most important reason is that I think it might help with my sleep apnea. No doctor has told me to lose weight, probably because I’m much thinner than the stereotypical sleep apnea patient, but I can’t help but notice a correlation between my increased weight and the severity of my sleep problems, so I’m trying to reverse it.
