take my mum on holiday

So we went away to a nice hotel for a couple of nights. It couldn’t have turned out any better. Everyone had a good time. My mum got pampered. We actually TALKED to each other. I might even do it again some time!

Excellent – the holiday is now booked. I’ll wait until it has actually taken place before marking it as done!

...we don’t get to spend much quality time together (living a couple of hundred miles apart), so I’d like to take mum away for a long weekend so that we can catch up.
