How I did it: I downloaded the geocaching app for my phone and checked out the website. I then went in search of three geochaches in a park near my home, unfortunately I couldn't find them!
I may try this in another environment (i.e. not a park) and try a different user (as all had been hidden by the same person).. or maybe I'm just no good at this game! I found it frustrating not being able to find them! Read how I did it… 7 months ago

I have been looking into this for months, trying to find a day when I could get out with at least one of the kids (with 2 of my own and 2 soon-to-be step-daughters and different custody arrangements)... we have made a few attempts, only to come up empty. We even looked for a few caches when we were out camping…
This past weekend I convinced both the boyfriend and one of his daughters to come out looking with me and we found TWO of them!
We downloaded an application for my Android phone (c:geo) and have since ordered a GPS device as we plan on making this a family hobby! 21 months ago

orienteering is better, but it was awesome because i totally felt like a pirate that just discovered like a sunken treasure chest or something
