I used to climb at a very big indoor gym when I used to work about 3 to 4 times a week.
Since school started (2 years ago), my climbing declined to once a week at best.
Now and for a long time, I find it challenging to not let my ego get the best of me and not want to climb.
Going from a strong lead climber to what I’ve been climbing nowadays.
My commitment now is to schedule in climbing at least once a week, and boulder one other day if i can.
that and get used to making big falls.
I wish all of you good times on the rock. real or not

i used to rock climb with a group every month, but then to group fell through after our big trip was canceled. I haven’t had a chance to go back :(
My boyfriend like to rock climb, so i think I’m going to convince him to go with me every month or two. :P

...dogs!
I have to remember the addage and motto of the Mountain Gazette:
When in doubt, go higher.
It made all the difference today with my traverse of the wall at school.
And when I lost my footing today, I managed to get back on the wall with little trouble. You should see my guns!

...of a 5.9 at the gym, the season for out-doors is finally here, and I’m training 3 times a week. I’d say this goal is done!

Last Year I pulled out my 5.10 climbing shoes, bought a new harness and stitch plate and then my new found climbing partner moved out the state. She got married and sure I’m happy for her but…I’VE GOT CLIMBING GEAR GATHERING DUST…not right. Will change that routine.

On April 9th, Sean, Jamie and I headed to Great Falls NP for some climbing. It was a gorgeous cool day and we climbing the cliff face as the water and kayakers sped by. We had a little rapelling adventure which we survived thankfully. It was a great day and I hope to get out a lot more this year.
