I’m almost 20 years old and my Mum stills cooks, cleans, washes my clothes, irons everything, changes my bed sheets, pays for everything I need, basically just takes care of me. I’m an adult and I should be doing things for myself rather than relying on my mum, I need to prepare myself for living on my own. I’ll still have to rely on my Mum for financial support until I find a job but I can still do everything else for myself. 4 months ago

Instead of relying on other people’s plans, I want to do something for myself everyday.

For me, this might include running a couple miles everyday or going to the park and rollerblading or biking. I don’t want to have to be dependent on people and I want to have the power within myself to make myself happy. 2 years ago
