grammarchickclothespin bag

I took a large rectangle of scrap fabric, folded over a 1/2” flap along the top and sewed it to make a loop for the cord. Then I folded the whole piece in half and stitched the bottom and sides, leaving the end of the flap part open. I had some old cord that I threaded through the loop by attaching a safety pin to one end and working it through the loop a bit at a time. Then I knotted the ends of the cord, leaving a little slack so I can pull the bag closed. Holds about 50 clothespins. 10 months ago

I tied each strap into a knot at the top, measured how much I wanted to take off and snipped. I sewed the ends together and voila! No more insta-flasher when I put it on. Now on to actually making a whole garment… 12 months ago
