gather and survive all the administrative necessary procedures to become an official free-lance worker. Or not

Wooohooooo ! 3 years ago

I’ve never given up anything with as much joy and relief.
Everything is ok now.
I don’t establish free-lancer fees anymore, but author fees.
Let me tell you, it’s another world. A world where I can evolve in freely, without anxiety and headache.
Where I understand when one’s talking to me.

I had an interesting conversation with R (boyfriend of a dear friend of mine, and young/talented director). He told me that I don’t have to become a free-lance worker. That it’s a full job to become one, and it’s not how people proceed in cinema industry. It’s not fair I have to pay all the taxes. In comparison with the money I receive for this job, it’s just plain stupid from me to accept. (Well, he didn’t actually tell me that, but that’s where I end up, after thinking).
I’ll have a talk with Big Boss about it asap. We have to find a way.
Anyhow, all this made me think about how I can accept things without really thinking about them. And how I don’t dare to assert myself, mostly in work.

2nd appointment with the lawyer today.
A zillion things to do, again.
A squillion (thanks Laweeez for this one) things, that are accountancy related. It’s like aramean for me. Boring aramean.
I’m very tired with and of this goal.

I had an appointment with a lawyer this morning. It was pretty useful.
Now, I have to do some algebra, and maybe I’ll be finally able to apply for this tax exoneration.

Oh. My. God.
It’s like an endless dark labyrinth, where the strange people you meet from time to time speak only some nebulous unknown language. Like a sort of quest of Graal (a lot of tricks on the way). Like you have to prove that, for you, nothing in the universe has more value than Sacred administrative procedures.
Believe me, it’s like a slow death. Yeah.
