I wish I could do this today, but my heart tells me that one day I will. I can help so much more by not going and save the money from the air faire to help others, but in reality I’d just really like to go!

I received a little note from Kenya.
It said..
“Thank you for always being faithful to me”
(ME).........I won’t forget you don’t worry. I’m here and I care about you…........
From Viet Nam
“Please write to me, I am worried I do not have a sponsor”
(ME)...........You have many letters coming to you soon….......
In one of my letters I tried to describe what snow was like. I also explained how people made snowmen and about snowball fights and snowforts. Even about how in the winter school children made snowflakes by folding paper and cutting it.
Its interesting to write something out like this when I usually don’t and just experience it.
I have been a sponsor for a child in Kenya for three years now. Her mother started writing to me monthly and in time, my sponsored child did as well. We all write about once a month. I know I have learned so much from them. The sponsorship provides things for the entire family. To me it is more than a sponsorship, a link between all of us. I can’t remember what my life was like before them.
