Isn't it Ironic 6 months ago

I’ve never really been the person to get myself into anything I really wasn’t prepared for, but boy have I gotten myself in pretty deep with this one. I decided I was going to get my AA degree out of the way while I was in High School so that I wouldn’t have quite as much to do in college. And Hopefully to save myself a little money in the process. The issue with that decision however is the small factor that I didn’t get into the major I wanted. The major was a review and audition only and I was not accepted into the program. Now I am stuck with an AA degree, a full scholarship, the summer off and no major. If I don’t pick something by August, I become disenrolled from the school and I lose that scholarship. Sucks right?

if i only knew what i wanted to do with my life then maybe that might get me somewhere. however, i have changed my major 3 times and this will be my 3rd year of college coming up. this really honestly sucks. i know a lot of people that know exactly what they want to do. why can’t i be like them?this really just sucks. i don’t know if i’ll ever find what i’m looking for….

Psychology: my long lost love 19 months ago

I have never been so obsessed, fascinated, mystified, or appreciative of any other subject. Now that I’ve found my calling, I don’t know why it wasn’t obvious from the very start. It may sound cheesy, but finding a major that you are passionate for, is one of the most euphoric sensations in all the world.

so i’ve been looking through jobs… and i think i’ve got it… food and nutrition…. with a minor in either chem or psych… jobs are growing and schools are looking into good nutrition and psych may be useful if i would decide to work in schools… now i just hav to talk to my advisor about becoming a rd since my school doesnt actually have a dietetics program but i think u can do it after u get a bs food and nutrition degree (hopefully i love my school)

i’ve always wanted to be a tescher when i was a kid, but now i’m not so sure if i can do it. i’m not loud, outgoing, or organized for that matter. I love food, cooking, and science and i’m hoping to find something in food & nutrition that will work.

I think I’ve got it! I was searching around for career possibilities in psychology because I was not sure what to do with a degree without going on to further schooling. There’s tons of jobs in the business field, health care/social work, and miscellaneous fields!! So I figure that I can find one of those types of jobs after I get my bachelor’s degree and work towards a degree in sport psychology—it’s really interesting, and it seems like a good fit for me because I LOVE sports and exercising. pick a major: DONE! :)
