I cleaned my porch!!! Now I just have to sponge off the baby highchair that was out there and the car jumper. I would like to enjoy the pool this comming weekend.

The porch is very sandy from the dogs. I really need to clean and bleach it down. We still have the extra table outside from Masons party that needs to come in the house.
Two years ago our basement flooded (too much rain/saturated ground) and we desperately looked for places to stuff the stuff that survived the flood. The porch is screened in and fairly dry most of the year. It is right off of my bedroom and it is a goal to redecorate the porch when we redecorate the bedroom, so that it all flows nicely together. Especially since you can see the porch from my bedroom through the large sliding glass doors next to my bed.
We have piles of stuff from the basement out there. My husband now throws things out on the porch that have been hanging around the house “too long”. I did start cleaning it one day this summer and discovered mice made nests in some of it and I didn’t k now how to handle that.
I’m feeling too overwhelmed, and now that it is winter it is too cold to go out there for long periods of time to work on the porch. SIGH.
my DH cleared it off when i was out of town so i can’t rally take credit but still – 80% done!
